Laneige - All Day Anti Pollution Defensor Review

20:11:00

So sorry that I took quite a long hiatus in doing a review this month. I was busy preparing for my flea haha! Today I am doing a review on Laneige All Day Anti Pollution Defensor. While googling, I realized there were too many sponsored posts so I got a bit 'un-convinced' that this product is great. But still, my hands itchy, I bought it to test. Let's read on to find out more after 3 months of usage!

Everyday Skin Lock Mode with LANEIGE All Day Anti Pollution Defensor

Have Sunscreen and whitening effect as well (SPF30 PA++ / *Whitening function cosmetics)

3-Step Skin Lock Mode of NEW LANEIGE All Day Anti Pollution Defensor
1. DUST BLOCK™ Technology
By using the magnetic polarity, in which same poles of the magnet repel each other, this technology helps skin to repel dust as the product with negative charge repels fine dust, which also has negative charge.
2. Sunscreen UV protection (SPF30 PA++)
Block UV, the main cause of skin aging and flaws, to make skin healthy and clean
3. Strengthen Skin Barrier · Brightening Effect
Reflect harmful factors to skin and make skin more firm and clear

It's said to suit all skin types. Anyway I have very oily skin.

This product caught my eyes because of its claims. Dustblock = less dirt in pores, SPF = protect your skin from harmful UV rays. It's a 3 in 1 product in my opinion as it could be used as a day moisturizer too.

It wasn't white but yellow tinted. When spread out evenly, it sis not leave any white cast. Which means yay, it's suitable for the guys too!

Don't be deceived by the product. It was really lightweight and moisturizing, without feeling heavy. The finishing was quite sticky so if you prefer a matt finish, this may not be for you.

Here's the ingredients and there are a few irritants.
Cetearyl Alcohol (Common)
Butylene Glycol (Common)
Ceteareth-12 (This has a scale of 3-9 which was really high.)
I went to research on this ingredient, it's a penetration enhancer.
•> Classified as a Penetration Enhancer, alters skin structure allowing chemicals to penetrate deeper into the skin.
> •Increases the amount of toxins that reach the bloodstream.
> •Contains Ethylene Oxide

Stearic Acid (Common)

Does it does what it claims?
Claim 1: Dust Block TM technology, which reflects fine dust by using the principle of magnetic reflection, protects skin from harmful environment.
There's been a debate on dust block technology but I have to say it had an impact on my mentality haha. I felt that my skin had became better and did not worsen, even when I had to be in a really dusty environment on some occasions.
Claim 2: Makes skin clean and firm, by consolidating the skin barrier.
My skin has a natural glow upon using this sunscreen. It may look greasy at first but after it sets and putting on a no sebum primer, it's all good.
Claim 3: This product has sunscreen effect and whitening effect.
Yes to the sunscreen effect but I feel otherwise for the whitening effect. Also, this doesn't leave any obvious white cast.

    1. Hi there :D For eyecreams I had only tried using Innisfree Tone Up Eye Serum and Piolang Vita 3000 Vitamin A Cream. For Innisfree one, it leaves a sticky finishing but lightweight. One bottle can last for 4 months and cost about $34+/-. For Piolang one, Vitamin A is to improve signs of wrinkles and also to prevent wrinkles. It comes in 30ml for $9. It doesn't leave any sticky feeling which I prefer as I wouldn't want my undereyes to get clog. I am also quite statisfied with the result as I see the slight wrinkles improving :) Anyway you can get it from here if you wish to: http://sg.althea.kr/referral-welcome?k=zOTUxOTQ <- by clicking this link u can get an extra $5 +$20 off when you make a purchase :)
      Hope it helped!
