The Face Shop Trolls Ink Draw Dual Lips Review

02:39:00

Apologies that I took quite some time to post another product review. The latest collection in Singapore is the Trolls Collection at the moment. I wasn't eyeing on any of their products as I ain't a fan of Trolls. However, I went to try out the swatches and I was tempted to get cause of it's quality. As I am on a budget buy, I wanted to save my money for skincare instead of cosmetics, I only bought what I felt was really worth it.

Features:
Containing Pink Flower Complex*, it stays a bright vivid colors for long hours.

How To Use:
After applying Slim Lipstick along your natural lip line, draw Mousse Tint to create a gradient on the lips.
Or, you can freely create various types of lip makeup with this duo.

* Make sure to keep the lid of Lipstick closed after use. And do not keep it in an upright position when not in use.

Colors:
#1 Cupcake Pink
#2 Mystical Red
#3 Beat on Coral
#4 Cheer up Orange
#5 Magical Rose

Packaging states how it looks inside.

Ingredient list as pictured.

With this you can create more than one lip look.

It's a retractable crayon stick, it's creamy so it glides on really smoothly.

The other side is a mousse tint, it has a matt finishing and is super pigmented.

Swatch as seen.

Swatch when blended. It's easy to blend out although it looks quite drying.

Does it does what it claims?
Claims: Dual type lip make-up product. It has two formulations of "Slim Lipstick + Mousse Tint. Use slim lipstick for sophisticated expression and use mousse tint when you want vivid color. And, you can use both formulations together. Vivid color lasting and lip conditioning effect with pink flower complex. (blossom extract, water lily extract, rose extract, lotus extract).
For a natural look I will use the slim lip crayon as it gives a natural look. If I were to need something heavier, I will add on the lip mousse to give a gradient effect. The mousse lip tint stain stays on for really long. But not the crayon one. I would not recommend to use on dry lips as it just accentuates the dryness.

~ The one I got was #4 Cheer up Orange with DJ Suki on.

| Pros |
~ Highly Pigmented.

~ The design on is cute!
~ Smells nice, looks fun.
~ The mousse stain stays on long.
~ The crayon side is creamy.

| Cons |
~ Might be drying for really chapped lips.

| Would I buy this again? |
Yes! I will buy these if they ever come out with different collaborations. I think these are quite worth the money too. The crayons are not too drying as I thought it would be, the lip mousse side was so pigmented too. I see quality + packaging goals in this product.

I bought mine from TheFaceShop, Bugis Junction.

  1. The packaging is so cute and the crayon looks great but as you said for my dry lips this formula might be not the best choice but still it looks very interesting :)

    1. Yes it is pretty drying. Although the pigment is good it accentuates dry parts making it look very dry :( Gotta step up my lip exfoliating game and keep a lip balm with it!
