(PR) JOLSE Olivarrier Fluid Oil 30ml Review

21:16:00

I am a fan of Squalane as an ingredient among my skincare products. Although saying so, it's actually my first time trying out a squalane oil. If you guys had been following my Instagram, you would notice I had been in love with hemp seed oil as it regulates my sebum which my make up finally last pass lunch hours! I understand oil can be pore clogging so results may vary. Firstly, I am really glad that I took a step into trying Squalane. I really feel my skin barrier strengthened.

What is it:
The freshness and quick absorption provides enough moisture for any time of the year, keeping the skin smooth by making the dead skin cells elastic without blocking the pores.
The ingredient similar to the skin will improve the dryness and the roughness of the skin safely.
The colorless, odorless, and harmless plant squalane is the only ingredient contained in the product.
The single ingredient oil will soothe the tightness of the skin, dry eyes and lips, rough hands and nails, damaged hair, sensitive and weak skin of expecting mothers and babies.

How is olive squalane different from other oil?
#The low molecular structure with small particles moisturize the skin quickly and freshly without blocking the pores.
#Smooths the skin by preventing the dead skin cells from piling up.
#The sturdy moisture barrier adjusts excessive sebum.
#Protects the skin from UV rays and external hazards by forming a healthy skin membrane

It comes in 30ml, each time you will only need 2 drops, so it's gonna last quite a while.

Just to add on, I found more benefits of Squalane online:
Squalane Oil Benefits

Squalane oil is suitable for ALL skin types, from dry to sensitive to oily and acne-prone.

Here's what squalane can do for your skin:
Moisturize:
Squalane is an excellent moisturizer and leaves skin hydrated, plump and soft. The texture is super-light and non-greasy, and it sinks into the skin fast.
Eye and Lip Treatment:
I've found squalane ideal for both treating and preventing eye-area dryness. I have a tendency to get irritation under my eyes, even from natural ingredients—they'll often cause crepey, dry patches that take days to repair. Squalane fixes that right up. It also heals chapped lips better than most lip balms!
Prevent Irritation:
Unlike other moisturizers, squalane is clinically proven to be non-irritating, making it great for people with sensitive skin conditions. It's also completely odourless and colourless.
Non-Comedogenic:
Although theoretically, any oil can be clogging, I think squalane is one of the LEAST likely to cause issues. For me, it doesn't clog pores or cause acne in the slightest. If you've found other oils too heavy or comedogenic, I think it's definitely worth a shot!
Oil Control:
Squalane can help regulate excess oil production. That makes it a better choice than jojoba, which also has this property, but is a less stable monounsaturated fat.
Soothe:
Squalane can speed healing of cracked or chapped skin, and soothes eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.
Fight Bacteria:
Squalane is naturally antibacterial (just like coconut oil).
Protection from Oxidative Damage:
Most importantly, squalane helps protect your skin from the free radicals that can cause age spots and premature aging. It may even help fade dark pigment over time.

It comes in a dropper bottle and I love dropper packagings. Downside is it cannot reach to the bottom when the product is finishing.

There isn't any oily residue.

Does it does what it claims?
Claim 1: The low molecular structure with small particles moisturizes the skin quickly and freshly without blocking the pores.
It doesn't leave any residues and absorbs super fast. I am glad this wasn't oily at all. Did not clog up my pores.
Claim 2: Smooths the skin by preventing the dead skin cells from piling up.
My skin texture had been improving after adding this into my routine. But I feel it's more of the combination of the Etude House Cica Balm that improved my texture.
Claim 3: The sturdy moisture barrier adjusts excessive sebum.
Hemp Seed Oil had been regulating my sebum rather effectively so I am not so sure if this is helping.

| Thoughts |
I won't repurchase because of the price point. But I am gonna try out The Ordinary Squalene Oil instead. I love love love Squalane now. I tend to over exfoliate and this oil helps to repair my skin back. I am not sure if other brands can work like this but I assume it's possible, I will give it a try and update. Overall, Squalane made a big difference in my skincare routine.
