(PR) Huang Ji Soo Pure Daily Foaming Cleanser Review (Anti-Trouble & Moisturising)

10:12:00

Hello guys! Back with another cleanser review. I am very skeptical with cleansers especially, so before I agreed to take on this, I actually *scanned* through the ingredient list very closely. To add on, I actually typed in the ingredients manually one by one into Cosdna to check. I haven't seen such a clean ingredient list, beside the Soon Jung cleanser so far. Of course it gained my curiosity.

Firstly, I would like to share more about the brand first as it's quite new.

The ingredient list is so clean, I cannot even believe my eyes at first. It contains no sulfates nor preservatives.

Next up, I was sent this mini traveled size bottle. This was the moisturising one. How convenient would this be! It's genius they actually came out with two sizes as no one would want to lug a huge bottle of cleanser when travelling. Also, since there are five kinds of cleanser, buying all 5 mini bottles to try would be so much more worth it, in my point of view.

The ingredient list is shorter than the anti trouble one. Honestly, I still cannot believe how a cleanser ingredient list could be so clean!

How cute is this mini bottle. *Heart Melts*

The top was the Anti Trouble one,and the bottom was the Moisturising one. Both foams out exactly the same. It smells the same too actually. Ah, I don't smell well, but one thing I can assure is - there is no artificial fragrance.

So now let's talk about..
[Anti-Trouble Pure Daily Foaming Cleansing]

Does it does what it claims?
Claim 1: Whitening Mung Bean Extract helps to remove the toxins from the skin to make the skin crystal clear.
Clearer skintone was seen over a week of use.
Claim 2: Protect the skin after cleansing.
Sounds like strengthening skin barrier, but I don't see it happening yet. I think it may require 1-3 months consistence use to see results. Fixing skin barrier is never an overnight thing.
Claim 3: To give a sense of moisture, chamomile ingredients for skin problems, from the harmful substances in the skin, cleansing to help calm the skin.
Yes it does helps to calm down pimples, I switch out of this cleanser to the Etude House Soon Jung Cleanser and I broke out.

Summary of product:
Packaging
~ Cute pear shaped bottle. Comes in 2 sizes. 180ml & 30ml. Sturdy packaging.

Smell
~ Not Fragranced.

Color?
~ White, Foamy.

Pros
~ Brighter skin.
~ All natural ingredients! It didn't break me out thankfully.
~ No SULFATES!
~ No preservatives.
~ Cleans up 'about to develop' pimples. Not big inflammed acnes/cysts though.
~ No fragrance.
~ Easy to use, especially for lazy people.. like me haha. A long day after work and you just wanna get that make up off fast!

| Cons |
~ PH Level 7. It might be considered too high to selective individual.
~ It has the same feeling after washing like the Soon Jung PH 6.5 Cleanser. (Slightly stripping but not squeaky clean)

Thoughts
Hmm, in terms of anti trouble effects, Cosrx one did so better. But it performed better than the soon jung one I feel. I switched out of this for the Etude one and pimples came back. Then I went to move on to the moisturising one instead.

Next, let's talk about..
[Moisturising Pure Daily Foaming Cleansing]
*PS: I LOVE THIS*

Does it does what it claims?
Claim 1: Elastic pomegranate extract prevents skin aging and enhances skin elasticity to make the skin more compact.
Still clearer skintone was seen. Pores looks less pronounced.
Claim 2: High moisture wheat extract Lecithin to maintain the moisture content of the stratum corneum. A day to maintain the moisture of the skin and skin problems.
Stratum Corneum (the outermost layer of the skin, consisting of dead cells.) I preferred this because it helped my dehydrated skin SO MUCH. Although the PH level is 7, it did not leave me the stripping feeling like the Anti Trouble on did.
Claim 3: Tailor grass extract can calm the skin while also giving a sense of moisturizing.
Clams redness and some blemishes I had thanks to my office renovation. it could had gotten worse, but this one helped a lot.

Thoughts
I would way prefer this one over the Anti Trouble one. Also, I'm planning to get this and the anti pollution one in the future. I used 3 pumps each time I cleanse my face in the evening. Amazingly, I tested both PH levels but this one feels less stripping. Hence, was actually wondering was it because of the ingredients. No tightness at all! Love how clear and soft my skin actually looks and feel. I think the Missha FTE in combination with this cleanser was a boom for my face! LOVEEEE - Repurchase Repurchase Repurchase for this one.
