Since I am done with so many bottles of the Cosrx cleanser, it's time for me to really talk about it here on my blog! I personally LOVE this cleanser to bits and that's the reason why I kept going back for it. Cosrx's packaging were constantly simple and straightfoward. The cleanser comes in a white tube with an eye catching blue and yellow label.
Hello, I am back with another product kindly provided by Wishtrend for my thoughts on it. Initially I was really excited on this because it's my first time trying out a cleanser in a powder form and also, with green tea! Green tea is one of my favourite ingredients as it helps with irritated and acne prone skin. I used to wash my face with green tea lukewarm water thrice a week in the past.
This review took really long and I really apologise for it. I had been testing it out really slowly as it's been really humid in Singapore as it seems like a heavier cream type which I initially thought might not work out as well on me and I wanted to provide a more accurate review on this. I actually decanted this and brought it overseas with me. If you guys had been following me, I had been to korea and the weather was really dry and cold. This sleeping mask worked like my HG Laneige water sleeping mask. I was really afraid of getting clogged pores prior to using it.
Back with another blogpost before I fly off. I had been trying out this cleansing balm for quite sometime and it's actually my first cleansing balm product that I had ever used. Honestly, I still have mix feelings over this. But read on to find out more, who knows it might suit your skin?
First time trying out blogging an informative post as I had constantly received a lot of question and misconceptions between hydration and moisturization, and I really hope this post can answer to your questions and misunderstanding. *Disclaimer, I am not a professional hence, what I had included in this post are mostly references I had read up and researched and phrase again from my own understanding.
Hello readers, I hope you had been doing well! I had not been blogging regularly recently cause of lots of ongoing things but I promise, I will be back! This week, I am back with a sunscreen review. I am pretty picky over sunscreen as the wrong one would break me out badly. Just to add on, I am about to empty this, hence I would like to share my thoughts on it.
This month of October, Wishtrend is being really generous to give out the Skinmiso Spot Repairing Serum for FREE! All you have to do is pay for your shipping fee. This serum originally cost $24.99usd so, it's really a big saver.
Back to review on another moisturiser which I nicknamed it 'awesome'! Basically, I had been loving the products from the Soon Jung range from Etude House. So today I am going to share with you guys my thoughts on this cream. This would be the first product from the range I would like to talk on~
Been using this for a month and all I can say was, this wasn't something I expected it would be initially! I am a fan of BHA all along, AHA too but AHA is something I would only use when my skin texture feels bumpy and rough as it kinda stings my skin. BHA had been one of my all time facourite as I have really oily skin and blackheads here and there.
Firstly, I would like to share more about, what exactly is Mandelic Acid? I totally can relate if you had never heard of it before as I really didn't beforehand either!
Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid derived from bitter almonds. It is more gentle than Gylcolic Acid but penetrates lesser.
It Targets THREE Main Skin Issues.
1. Wrinkles/Fine lines
It helps by accelerating the cell turnover, by dissolving tiny bonds that hold skin cells together. It aids by removing the dead skin on the skin surface which often causes dull complexions or even fine lines.
Furthermore, It strengthens collagen, which makes your face firmer and more youthful.
Mandelic Acids thins out the outermost layer of the skin called the stratum corneum(aka horny layer). A thinner stratum corneum gives skin a smoother and youthful look.
Don't forget it not only helps to brighten up skin but also protect your skin against free radical damage.
2. Hyperpigmentation & Discoloration
Usage of Mandelic Acid results in a more even out complexion and also in correcting skin tones.
Ever encountered sensitivity like stingy effects when using AHA? That is because of the deep pigmentations different individuals have and this irritation might stimulate pigment-producing cells to produce more melanin(pigmentation). That is why SUNSCREEEEN is needed when you use AHA! Good news is Mandelic Acid is gentler and a safer alternative.
3. Acne
Mandelic Acid contains antibacterial properties which are extremely helpful in helping with acne. It regulates sebum production which lowers the risk of an acne outbreak. Studies had shown that it helps cystic acnes too.
What is it:
Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water is a hydrating and nonirritating exfoliant that can be used daily.
Formulated with Mandelic Acid, which can be used without any irritation even on sensitive skin,
the Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water is an exfoliating treatment that improves the skin tone and
texture while boosting the effectiveness of other products.
Now,
Let's talk about the main ingredients available.
Mandelic acid
As one of the AHA ingredients, it has a large molecular size which causes very little irritation to the skin. It helps to improve pigmentation as well as to restore aged skin. It also has antibacterial properties that are effective for inflammatory acne.
Beta-Glucan
Moisturizing, redness reduction, anti-inflammatory and soothing effects.
Panthenol
Also known as vitamin B5, it acts as a humectant and moisturizer, improving the skin’s abilities to regenerate and to maintain hydration. It is also used to prevent inflammation and to prevent itching.
Centella Asiatica Extract
Helps regenerate damaged skin.
Sodium Hyaluronate
As a natural moisturizing factor, it attracts moisture and helps retain moisture within the skin, preventing dryness after exfoliation.
Helps with pigmentation to improve the skin tone and texture. As a mild exfoliator that works on the surface of the skin, safe to use even for sensitive skin to avoid the use of harsh chemical exfoliation. Effective for acne due to its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties.
To preserve it's 'freshness', every bottle comes sealed with an aluminium foil as seen above.
It's very watery and absorbs really fast.
Does it does what it claims?
Claim 1: Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water is a hydrating and nonirritating exfoliant that can be used daily.
Although it's said to be suitable for daily use even for sensitive skin, but for super sensitive skin type like me, I would recommend 3 times a week only.
Claim 2: Formulated with Mandelic Acid, which can be used without any irritation even on sensitive skin.
It still stung me a little but was really lesser as compared to the AHA one. I find myself wanting to reach out for this more than Cosrx AHA these days.
Claim 3: The Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water is an exfoliating treatment that improves the skin tone and texture while boosting the effectiveness of other products.
Try using this and you will notice clearer skin tone. It looks brightened and softer. However, it didn't help with pores.

If you are looking for a gentle acid or if you are new to acid, yes, try this out. To me I had not been using physical scrubs for a year. Ever since then, I had been relying hard on chemical exfoliants. BHA, AHA and Niacinamide had been a few of my favourites. Now I am glad to add in Mandelic Acid. It helps with my close comedones especially when used with BHA together. There isn't any tacky or sticky residue after application. I use this after my cleansing > FTE most of the times. Best was it didn't smell as bad as AHA.

Till the next time!
Der beloved readers of my blog, I bring to you guys new codes for this! Wishtrend is generously giving away NOT ONE BUT TWO of these MINI TONERS from klairs with no minimum purchase through their site here: http://www.wishtrend.com?a_aid=jeankuahwishtrend
So, just in case you are wondering what you can get there, I decided to do some recommendations below based on what I felt is worth to buy!
I would recommend to get 2 things.
KLAIRS Best Trial Kit
It's a collection of klairs samples in a set. Tt would be a great opportunity for those who are interested to give it a try, as they might find it risky in investing directly on a full sized.
Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear/Moisture Kit
I had used the One Step Pimple Clear Pad before and yes I do love it! I do recommend people that want to try out the pads to get this mask kit instead.
You can include promo code: MINISEPTWISH to get 2 free mini toners when you purchase this!
Quite worth it isn't it? ONE mini toner actually cost $5.
For those that are looking for things to try:
I would highly recommend the followings!
KLAIRS Supple Preparation Facial Toner
This toner is my holy grail, I am completing my second bottle soon. It helps to hydrate and soothe my skin whenever it is irritated. If you haven't tried it, you might wanna give it a try!
By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5% Skin Prep Water
Initially, I did not expect much from this toner but it's really a genius invention. It exflioates gently on sensitive skin types like mine without causing any sensitivity. It helps to clear some of my close comedones.
*Your Mileage Might Vary*
Remember to include promo code: MINISEPTWISH to get 2 free mini toners when you purchase any of these!
Lastly, Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop is one of their latest addition into the Klairs range.
I haven't really tried it out but I am gonna share with you what I had read from it.
What is it:
• The first anti-aging product by KLAIRS.
#MidnightBlue #YoutheningBlue
• Anti-wrinkle product.
• Contains EGF (sh-Oligopeptide-1), bFGF (sh-Polypeptide-1),
and 95% raw materials for anti-aging.
• Only made with 10 core ingredients without the use of purified water
as a high concentration and high strength delay-aging serum.
Did you know?
Skin gradually ages and loses elasticity over time. This is a natural phenomenon that can’t be prevented or avoided. However, you can delay the process by replenishing factors lost and damaged over time and protect the skin from direct irritants, such as ultraviolet rays.
How does it help?
On a deep blue night, only the sweetest dreams for your skin.
The KLAIRS Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop does exactly what it’s named after. It is a night serum used before going to bed that has a blue tint due to guaiazulene in the formula. Made with EGF (sh-Oligopeptide-1), bFGF (sh-Polypeptide-1), and 95% raw materials for anti-aging effects, the EGF and bFGF activate the key factors in the skin to help improve the overall health and quality of the skin. Although the packaging may be small, it’s only made with 10 core ingredients without the use of purified water as a high concentration/ high strength delay-aging serum.
This actually makes me want to get it! Let me know if you think I should purchase this and review on it. Simply leave a comment below~

Hello guys! Back with another cleanser review. I am very skeptical with cleansers especially, so before I agreed to take on this, I actually *scanned* through the ingredient list very closely. To add on, I actually typed in the ingredients manually one by one into Cosdna to check. I haven't seen such a clean ingredient list, beside the Soon Jung cleanser so far. Of course it gained my curiosity.
Here is Althea's first product launched under their own brand! I was really excited to try this out when I first heard about it. As I am a fan of the innisfree no sebum powder, this one from Althea was in a prettier packaging and at a more affordable pricing so I was wondering if this could be a replacement for that.
OOZOO Singapore earlier on sent me a PR package which included this cleanser from SISHE. I'm very skeptical over cleansers as it determines whether hell or heaven for my skin. No middle, it's just that two extreme options for me. So I looked through the ingredient list, research on it and took up the courage to test it out.
My first product from Thank You Farmer would be this gel cream. Sorry for the bad image quality this round because it wasn't a good lighting day. It's a popular requested product, so I thought I shouldn't delay it further. Thank You Farmer products price range are in the mid-high range. So is it really worth to get your hands on them?
Hi guys, back to share an awesome deal from wishtrend! For the month of August, Wishtrend is having a coupon code for their VITAMIN 75 MAXIMIZING CREAM. You can get it free by using the code WISHMAX. You may shop by clicking the link HERE or any of the images in this post.
I am a fan of Squalane as an ingredient among my skincare products. Although saying so, it's actually my first time trying out a squalane oil. If you guys had been following my Instagram, you would notice I had been in love with hemp seed oil as it regulates my sebum which my make up finally last pass lunch hours! I understand oil can be pore clogging so results may vary. Firstly, I am really glad that I took a step into trying Squalane. I really feel my skin barrier strengthened.
Reported back late as I decided to give this cushion a few more chances before coming to a final conclusion. This is a tone up cushion, which I personally feel is similar to most of the sun cushions I had owned. Felt that this functions similar to a sun cushion as there were little coverage and more towards improvements of uneven skin tone with SPF included.
I apologise for the delay for this post as I didn't managed to finish editing the photos on time. Today I will be sharing on a high coverage cushion. Towards high coverage cushions, I tend to have mixed feelings over them. Singapore is too humid, high coverage foundations breaks down faster and looks cakey and kinda unpresentable in the late noon. However, sometimes at the time of the month, light coverage would be definitely not enough to cover up those pesky red acnes or red skin. That explains my mixed feelings. Do you feel me? Hah.
I seldom switch out with cleansers as I tend to get breakouts easily from the wrong cleanser choice. I decided to go for this since it was raved by quite a number of people and it had a safe PH Level of 5-6 as well. I really like this cleanser a lot!
I am addicted to cica so much recently that I was so excited when It's Skin marketing team contacted me to try out their new tiger cica range. I had been including at least one Cica product into my routine all this while and I really saw visible improvements. This product had been given by It's Skin to me in exchange for an honest review. Carry on reading if you are comfortable with a gifted post. All my opinions and thoughts remains truthful regardless it's a gifted product or not.
This was one of Benton's recently launched product, I am thankful I was picked among the first batch who got to try it out first. So today I will be sharing my thoughts on the cream after approx 2 weeks of on and off usage. This product is gifted so do proceed on to read only if you are comfortable and confident with me. I would only provide honest reviews, regardless it's a gifted product or not.
Finally, as my lovely followers had been requesting for the klairs toner review, here it is! I completed 9/10 of a bottle so I am ready for a review~ *Dancing* as I really love this, I hoarded 2 bottles and am totally guilt free! At first I was skeptical to try this out as the ingredient list was a little too long for a 'sensitive skin' skincare product plus it contained lemon peel oil (essential oil). I m glad I took the risk to test out this toner though.
An anti aging product for lips! So Addicted Official contacted me and I was given an opportunity to test out their products and share with you guys! At first, I thought it was just another ordinary product but after reading up about them, I was wrong. If you need a plumped up looking lips, you might want to try this out. It's said to replace injections and still achieve similar results!
If you had been following my insta-snap, you may had already seen my pink hair and the process too! There was a lot of questions raised, I received quite a number of DMs too. I decided to do a review on it so no one would miss it out :)
A hiatus from sheet mask, let's talk about make up! Today, I will be sharing on a powder pact I had been using for a few months! Been looking up and down for an SPF powder pact with no coverage. At first, I came across one from Apieu but that was in a loose powder form which can be messy to touch up. Found it inconvenient so I decided to give it a miss. Kept on comparing between Belif and Apieu and I ended up purchasing the Belif one.
Hello there dear readers! More snails, I love snails... mucin! Yes, I ain't referring the actual snail of course, they kinda creep me out BUT I love the mucin (or mucus) they produce~ I had been facing some skin troubles recently (hormonal) so I didn't immediately use this mask when I first received it. This is a luxurious mask which I wouldn't wanna waste!
Apieu had been pretty well known for their affordable cosmetics and skincare. Although it's priced at a low price point, most of their products delivers well and received quite a lot of compliments. I was excited when I saw the sweet sheet mask in 3 varieties, Banana, Peach and Grapefruit. The soothing one always get the first try!
Owed this review for so long! Didn't realise I haven't ever shared the Etude House Air Therapy Mask at least once on my blog. How can this beeeee ohmy! The first one I will share on will be the green tea one. This one is one my top 3 favourite out of the 15 choices available.
Finished my Laneige sunscreen so time to move on to a new sunscreen. Pretty particular with sunscreen, as I tend to break out when I tried the wrong ones, having said so it never stopped me from trying or experimenting still haha! So, let's see! Today, I will be talking about this sun cream from W lab.
Earlier on i bought 2 pieces of this OOZOO mask but OOZOO Singapore decided to send me more of it to try. Yesterday I finally had the chance to use it. It has been sitting in my stash as my recent skin condition wasn't really good and I found out that I 'might be' intolerant to 'Potassium Hydroxide' which was found in Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum (Allergy Reaction) and Guardian Pony Brown Root Water and Leaf Water Mask (Allergy Reaction). Sadly, this mask also contains Potassium Hydroxide. I was not very convinced my skin may had a reaction after realising I had been sticking to this particular cleanser for over a year which contains Potassium Hydroxide! So I plucked up my courage to try this mask yesterday night, hell yeah I was really nervous! By the way, I'm on an allergy rash medication so I wasn't sure if it blocked the reaction or it truly did not react on me.
My favourite ingredient to soothe troubled, allergic skin reactions would definitely be ALOE! Been using aloe really intensively recently and finally, I'm about to finish this tub from Cosrx! Hence, I decided to do a review on it. Having said so, I had repurchased my second tub~ Read on for more!
What is it:
Aloe Vera Oil-free Moisture Cream is a high-concentrate aloe cream that fills in the skin with thick moisture, helps calm the skin and prevent future troubles, and creates moisture barrier for sagging skin.
A 80% content of aloe vera leaf juice and 200-times-concentrate of aloe vera leaf juice powder to calm quickly the skin tired from the heat and ultraviolet ray. Makes your day!
Ingredient List as shown:
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Allantoin, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Dimethicone, Arginine, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Chlorophyllin-Copper Complex, Ethyl Hexanediol
How to use:
1) After cleansing or showering, apply an adequate amount to the desired area (especially to sun exposed, dry, irritated areas) and allow absorption.
2) For a cooler feel with increased firming and soothing effects, try using after refrigerating the product!
It comes in a plastic tub with spatula. PH level 6.5, Suitable for all skin types.
Spatula in between the cap and lid. The lid makes things messy for me. Warning!! If not capped properly and pressed, it will be a mess! I normally just throw the lid away afterwards.
It's a tub of gel. Really gel-ly! It doesn't wobble, I tried it haha!
I scooped a generous amount onto the back of my hands. Immediately, I felt a cooling sensation. It's gonna be even nicer if refrigerated I guess. Especially if you are gonna deal with sun burn.
It's pretty lightweight and absorbs fast into my skin. I really like how it doesn't pile and just 'sit' on my face.
Does it does what it claims?
Claim 1: A high-concentrate aloe cream that fills in the skin with thick moisture, helps calm the skin and prevent future troubles, and creates moisture barrier for sagging skin.
I love to slap these on my cheeks especially, as I face alot of redness, sensitivity, reactions blah blah and blah, and it really helps to soothe! I wouldn't say this prevents future skin troubles but helps existing skin troubles. Moisture barrier seems the same, mine is pretty damage though.
Claim 2: 80% content of aloe vera leaf juice and 200-times-concentrate of aloe vera leaf juice powder to calm quickly the skin tired from the heat and ultraviolet ray.
When my face flushes red because of heat, I will reach out for this. Not immediate effects but after prolonged usage, skin indeed feels less red and sensitive.

Repurchased my second tub! I do like this product. It's simple and it's great. It helps with my allergy reactions and I love how fast my skin eats this up. Whenever my skin is feeling extra sensitive, this is my trustable product, my first choice to reach out to. It's not really a miracle product neither is it my holy grail yet. However, I just like how it helped to settle down my skin. I will give it a higher rating as it delivers what it promises!

I bought mine from My Beauty Moments.

Since this was frequently requested and repeatedly asked, I decided to blog on this treatment essence first. Having said so, I had been using it consecutively for a few months and now left with about 10ml. Initially, I wasn't pinning much hopes on this product as it's ingredient list was way shorter than what I expected when compared with the innisfree one. It's also really affordable.
This was one of the bottle of essence I gotten from Innisfree when I just started my AB journey. Sorry if this post came a little late, I did like this but didn't realized that I hadn't blog about it yet. I emptied my last bottle for quite some time ago. In the past, I tend to use this particular one until I emptied it, try something new, but eventually still went back for this again. Used to love this one dearly. Back then my skin was really sensitive and red hence I was really wary of the products I try on.
