(AD) OOZOO Bear Water-Bang Hydrating Mask Review

17:51:00

Earlier on i bought 2 pieces of this OOZOO mask but OOZOO Singapore decided to send me more of it to try. Yesterday I finally had the chance to use it. It has been sitting in my stash as my recent skin condition wasn't really good and I found out that I 'might be' intolerant to 'Potassium Hydroxide' which was found in Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum (Allergy Reaction) and Guardian Pony Brown Root Water and Leaf Water Mask (Allergy Reaction). Sadly, this mask also contains Potassium Hydroxide. I was not very convinced my skin may had a reaction after realising I had been sticking to this particular cleanser for over a year which contains Potassium Hydroxide! So I plucked up my courage to try this mask yesterday night, hell yeah I was really nervous! By the way, I'm on an allergy rash medication so I wasn't sure if it blocked the reaction or it truly did not react on me.

What is it:
The potent ampoule that resides in this bear’s ear contains Cleomilk which is inspired by Cleopatra’s beauty secret milk bath.
Cleomilk is a plant-based moisturizer containing rich sesame oil, nigella sativa seed (black seed) oil, and aloe vera which hydrates and soothes dehydrated skin, accelerates the regeneration of the skin barrier, and traps in moisture.

Ingredients:

Ampoule
Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, Adenosine, Nigella Sativa Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Polysorbate 20, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, PVM/MA Copolymer Potassium Hydroxide, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Sucrose Stearate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Tocopherol, p-Anisic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance
Mask
Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Adenosine, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Trehalose, Tromethamine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Carbomer, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Disodium EDTA, Butylene Glycol, Polyglutamic Acid, 1,2-Hexanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance

Fold Line 1 first.

You will see an indication to fold Line 2.

Fold Line 2 firmly and push it hard until you hear a 'pop' sound. Your mask is ready to be worn!

The material of the mask is a natural fiber cellulose from wood pulp. It increases transparency and adhesion to skin and absorbs moisture and active ingredients maximally.

Mid Viscosity. It does not drip but it spreads out really easily. It doesn't feel heavy on my skin too.

Does it does what it claims?
Claims: Cleomilk is a plant-based moisturizer containing rich sesame oil, nigella sativa seed (black seed) oil, and aloe vera which hydrates and soothes dehydrated skin, accelerates the regeneration of the skin barrier, and traps in moisture.
I was really nervous using this mask and I can't help worrying if that ingredient will give me a reaction. If I had not worried so much, maybe the experience would had been better haha! When I removed the mask, my skin does feel brighter, clearer and hydrated instead of expecting a red face. However, I don't see much difference from the results from what other mask could had given me too. In the morning, my skin feels soft to touch. Still no redness, fingers crossed, however I will still keep a look out for a few days, before I can officially finally conclude.

Summary of product:
Packaging
~ It's amazingly cute and fun. It's a nice experience to be able to push the ampoule out manually and I feel like a little scientist hahaha. One just couldn't bear to rip the packaging, ugh.

Smell
~ Smells like sweets, sugar? I don't know but the smell is more of the sweet over relaxing kind.

Color?
~ Colorless, watery form but doesn't drip, mild viscocity.

Pros
~ No allergic reactions.
~ Skin feels clearer, brighter and hydrated.
~ No stickiness detected.
~ No dripping so no mess.
~ Absorbs into skin and doesn't sit on my face.
~ Hydrated and soft skin seen the next morning.
~ The fit was good and adheres well, it fits my face pretty well.

| Cons |
The ingredients list contains only a few irritant ingredients which is still acceptable. However, you might wanna patch test first just in case. (ampoule) >click this to check< (mask) >click this to check<
~ Would be great if it doesn't contains Potassium Hydroxide.

Would I buy this again?
It's not cheap, I think in Singapore SASA it retails for $49 for 10pcs which is $4.90 for one. Leaders one is HG for me and it's only $3.50. If there is a discount it may be worth getting to try. For now I will not repurchase as I still have a lot sitting in my stash. As I'm still on medication I'm unsure if it's blocking my allergy or it's just me being paranoid over it haha. It delivers what it promises though, I like the results of a fairer tone skin when I peeled off the mask with a glowing look.
