Belif Almighty sun powder SPF50+/PA+++ Review

02:02:00

A hiatus from sheet mask, let's talk about make up! Today, I will be sharing on a powder pact I had been using for a few months! Been looking up and down for an SPF powder pact with no coverage. At first, I came across one from Apieu but that was in a loose powder form which can be messy to touch up. Found it inconvenient so I decided to give it a miss. Kept on comparing between Belif and Apieu and I ended up purchasing the Belif one.

Product Description:
Almighty sun powder is a pressed powder sun care product made from molokhia herb that you can carry wherever you go. Strong UV protection is offered with a finishing soft touch.
At the last step of makeup or whenever needed, apply the sun powder. Spread an appropriate amount with the puff.

UV protection (SPF50+/PA+++)
No mineral oil, no synthetic fragrances, no synthetic colors, no synthetic preservatives, no animal-derived ingredients.

Comes with a puff.

Puff is very soft and fluff!

The pact is embossed with Belif tagline. Better take a photo first as I am sure mine would be dirty later on and indeed it is now haha!

Does it does what it claims?
Claim 1: Almighty sun powder is a pressed powder sun care product made from molokhia herb that you can carry wherever you go.
Hm, happy to report there wasn't any irritation! Molokhia herb is rich in antioxidant which protects your skin from the sunlight. This is very convenient to bring about for touch up. The new packaging was so much better than the previous one. The previous one had a separate lid which was messy. Touching up had been made easy with this too as it's in a powder pact form, so no loose powder or clumped powders ending up on your face.
Claim 2: Strong UV protection is offered with a finishing soft touch.
I use this to set my make up in the morning, when I am going out for lunch and after work. It's easy to bring about, easy to apply. However, I do recommend to blot your face with a tissue first so that the excess oil are wiped off, if not your foundation and oil will transfer onto your puff and pact. Also it may look cakey.

Summary of product:
Packaging
~ Simple box packaging with an open window. Nothing very special on the box. The powder pact is like a cushion packaging. It has a divider in between of the puff and the pact. Bright yellow and black theme.

Smell
~ Belif products tend to have a lemon kind of fragrance, including this one.

Color?
~ Translucent.

Pros
~ Easy to bring around.
~ Pact is always neater than powder form.
~ High SPF50, great for sunny days in Singapore.
~ The new version is much better, convenient to open and hold.
~ Oil control.
~ Easy to touch up.
~ Translucent finish.

| Cons |
~ The price.
~ Can go cakey if you over apply

Would I buy this again?
Honestly, this isn't a must have product. It's on the expensive side too anyway. Any other loose powder with SPF could do the job too. If the price wasn't this steep I would definitely repurchase. It gives a soft and clean finishing which I do like. But not really worth paying imo.

Where to buy?
I bought mine from Belif, Tangs (VIVO).

Ratings on this product
