Innisfree - Green Tea Fresh Cream Review

07:41:00

Today's review would be on my favourite moisturiser and this is my third tub! I really love this gel moisturiser as it's not heavy when applied which is perfect for oily skin peeps. In Singapore, our weather is constantly hot hence many of us have oily skin issues. Oily skin can lead to big pores and serious acne problems when you don't pay enough attention to it.

So what it is as claimed from innisfree website:

What it is;
Oily Type: A fresh cream for deep hydration and nourishment made from green tea and green tea seeds

A moisturizing and nourishing essence with eco-friendly Jeju fresh green tea & green tea seeds More moisturizing and refreshing than ever before!

1. Rich in amino acids and minerals, green tea from Jeju's own green tea leaves keeps your skin moisturized.

2. As a refreshing gel cream, it instantly moisturizes skin and leaves a soft finish without any oily residue.

3. The clove flower extract inside controls sebum and keeps your skin smooth without excessive shine.

*Product suggestions for the 3 most common types of skin
- oily skin: The green tea fresh line
- combination skin: The green tea balancing line
- dry skin: The green tea moisture line
- special moisturizing and nourishing care line: The green tea seed line

How to use;
Put a small amount of cream into your hand and apply it around your face and neck.

Ingredients;
Hydrate and recharge your skin with Jeju green tea!
Our green tea products' vitality and deep hydration are supplied by green tea extracts from the fields of Jeju island, renowned for its cleanliness and abundant plant life. Using these products will leave skin feeling smooth, supple, and deeply hydrated.

Full Ingredients;
The Green Tea Extract (84.2%), Propanediol, Glycerin, Tangerine Peel Extract, Prickly Pear Extract, Orchid Extract, Camellia Leaf Extract, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Flower Extract, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Extract, Grapefruit Extract, Orange Extract, Tangerine Extract, Tromethamine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Butylene Glycol, Carbomer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Water, Disodium EDTA, 1,2-Hexanediol, Fragrance

The packaging is a pretty light green plastic bottle sealed on with a white seal.

This product is in gel-like form unlike other cream moisturisers. Gel moisturiser is extremely recommended for oily skin types as it's less heavy and does not clog your pores. I try to avoid cream types unless I am travelling where I needed something heavier to make up for my dryer skin (due to the cold wind which strips off my oil and gave me dry patches).

A dollap would be enough but for reviewing purposes I placed two dollaps instead.

As you can see it's very very moisturising plus it's not heavy at all. I love the soft and supple feeling of my skin when I wake in the morning.

I really love this product and I strongly recommend it.

Final Verdict: *Drums rolls*

  2. Hey great review you have here! Just a little curious, does the cream feel sticky on your skin when you apply it? My skin feels sticky after applying this, and it hasn't happened with the essence, so I'm trying to find out what's wrong :(

    1. Hi there, yes it may feel a little tacky at first but it goes away pretty fast!! To me this was really considered one of the not so sticky type of moisturiser. My boyfriend is using this now and he feels the same too. The stickiness doesn't linger for long for him although it does at the start.

      Hope it helps :)
