CLIO - Micro Fine Oil Control Fix Mist Review

Hi guys! I am back with another review! Clio had been introduced into Singapore quite some time ago and they have products currently sold in Watsons. I heard that Clio is a good brand in Korea where some makeup professionals/artist uses their products as it's really good. So let's see how this oil control mist scored~

What it is:
Keep your face away from oil problems with this Micro Fine Oil Control Fix Mist. Contains an oil-control formula that normalizes your skin's moisture levels. Stored in a round cylinder with a pump cap for easy use.

How to use:
Place the mist about 20cm away from face and spray 2~3times on all over the face and let it be absorbed.
Be careful so that the mist won't get into eyes. Use at any time for moist makeup or skin.

I know you can't see the ingredients list but that's not the main point, the main point is the powder submerge right below. It's the oil control powder! Anyway the ingredients stated are in korean language :(

It is always very thoughtful, when they will paste an English ingredient list over. Everything else was fine for me except Alcohol Denat.

The nuzzle, a press and bye bye oil!

It dispenses a very fine mist. I love it alot as it's so fine, it spreads out evenly on my face. Please make sure you ain't holding it too close to your face!

The mist is so fine, it absorbs very fast too! It cools my skin temperature too leaving it cool and refreshed.

Does it does what it claims?
Claim 1: The oil control fix mist captures oiliness while retaining moisture for smooth, oil free skin.
Yes, it does absorb sebum well, however the effects will only last for an hour or two before you need another spray. It's not to stop sebum production so I think it's reasonable :)
Claim 2:  Spray and absorb with the all convenient oil control mist instead of oil control paper with can mess up your make up!
Yes, it is so fast and convenient! I am not a fan of blotting paper as it can mess up my makeup. I'm glad I found this product, totally in love with it~
Claim 3: Refine skin texture before makeup, fixes makeup easily affected by oiliness for longer lasting perfect makeup.
I use this after my makeup to fix my makeup everyday. You would be surprised by how good it controls your sebum production for a longer period of time. For example, by 11am you will see my skin starting to shine. But it didn't until 2pm.

  1. hello! i just bought this also, and i read on their website that you spray this before applying make up, but other sources, and your post says other wise...
im a bit confused haha, if i do use it before make up, is this before primer or after primer?
    Thank you!

    1. Hello, since about a month plus ago for me, I had been using it 3 times. Before makeup, immediately after when I apply on my bb cushion, and after I complete my full make up. My skin is very very oily and I got addicted to this. On my 5th Bottle. I think there are better ones out there but this is the most affordable one for me :)
